Watch Me When I Rise is a visualisation of the purge. A purge that is has risen by the dolls. We live in a world that is run by the cishet man. This world has made deliberate choices to erase, murder and oppress trans/femme/non-binary bodies. Living in a world with constant erasure and violence is a task and we are tired. But not tired enough to fight. Not tired enough to rule the world. Not tired enough to conquer the patriarchy covered in diamonds. We are reclaiming our time and power because we have been born with gifts that were taken from us. Now it’s our time. Let’s celebrate the time we are now reclaiming. Walking in these heels never felt this good. Watch me, when I rise, because you won’t want to miss it.
